Form Teacher and Form Class meet every morning for registration and this link is developed through weekly time-tabled classes where a structured “Pastoral Care” programme is followed.
This focuses on the personal development of the pupil as he prepares for the real world ahead. This special “Pupil-Form Teacher” link helps ensure that the pupil is “happy” in school - a most important point! Year Heads have overall responsibility for the pastoral welfare of all the boys in each year group.
Parents are encouraged to keep in close contact with the College regarding all aspects of a pupils educational wellbeing. We unashamedly state that we expect and need all parents to attend all Parents Nights throughout their son’s years at the College.
It is our belief that parents will view the College as an integral part of the community. We are not a “distant” uncaring establishment. Should there be difficulties, problems or worries we will “listen”, we will be “receptive”, we will be “responsive”.
